1. DMPT is a naturally occurring sulfur compound, which is the fourth generation of aquatic food attractant.The food inducing effect of DMPT was 1.25 times that of choline chloride, 2.56 times that of betaine, 1.42 times that of methylmethionine and 1.56 times that of glutamine.Glutamine is one of the most effective amino acid attractants, and DMPT is better than Glutamine.Extracts from squid viscera and earthworm have food inducing effect, mainly because they have a variety of amino acids.Scallop can also be used as a food attractant, but its umami flavor is derived from DMPT;

2. The growth promoting effect of DMPT was 2.5 times of that of semi-natural bait without attractant.

3, DMPT can also improve the meat quality of breeding varieties, so that freshwater varieties present seafood flavor, so as to improve the economic value of freshwater varieties.

4. DMPT is also a kind of hulling hormone material. It has obvious effect to accelerate the hulling speed of aquatic animals such as shrimps and crabs.
